When I think about owners of small and medium-sized businesses today, I see problem solvers. Business owners are being challenged to come up with solutions for problems that have never before existed in our economy. They’re writing the playbook because there isn’t a playbook for a pandemic. It’s a test many have embraced, yet one that’s all the more challenging as consumer habits and behaviors are rapidly evolving.
Our company has worked with thousands of small businesses to pivot by connecting them to products and services that address the ever-changing needs of their customers. One of the most remarkable and widespread shifts we’ve observed is the adoption of contactless payment systems.
